CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Three alleged illegal drug traffickers were busted in a joint police operation here that yielded 300 grams of Shabu ( Methamphetamine Hydrochloride) valued at P 2 million, BGen. Rolando Anduyan, police regional director in Northern Mindanao, said Wednesday.
The suspects identified as Liezel Galagar, 34, female, of Brgy. 34, Joemar Cartajena, 24, male, of Zone 11, Upper Carmen, and Antonina Padalapat, 32, female, of Ramonal Village, Nazareth, all of Cagayan de Oro City, were nabbed in Zone 11, Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City ,in a joint operation led by the police Regional Special Operation Unit.
Anduyan said that the RSOU and other units of the Unified Task Force has been monitoring the activities of the suspects for several months prior to the successful buy bust.
Seized from the suspects were five heat sealed plastic sachet in different sizes believed to be Shabu weighing more or less 300 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P 2,040,000 million.
The confiscated items would be submitted to quantitative and qualitative analysis evidences while charges with violation of the comprehensive anti -illegal drug law were filed against the suspects. -0-
