CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – With the active participation of Rotarians all over the world, a lot of worthwhile projects have been distributed to children, community groups and less fortunate people.
In this city, The Rotary Club of Kalaayan has also continued its commitment to serve the children at an elementary school, by giving them hygiene kits and snacks.
The kids, who were surprised by the projects of RC Kalayaan, have nothing to say but thanks to the generosity of the Rotarians, their families and benefactors.
The reported project, it was learned, was a kicked off project of the group for New Rotary Year 2022-2023.
The hygiene kits and snacks were successfully distributed by no less than District Governor Elect (DGE) Gilda “Gigi” Go together with her son Rtn Martin Go Rafanan, Club Service Chair; RCK CDO Club President Lilibeth Layagon; and other Club Officers of Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro, on July 1, 2022.
Meanwhile RI President-elect Jennifer Jones urges Rotarians to engage more with each other and use these connections to build partnerships that change the world. With this year’s theme: IMAGINE ROTARY, the call is for all Rotarians to act to make their dreams become a reality and to make the most of their club experiences. (JCE)
