NutriAsia President and Chief Operating Officer Angie Flaminiano has been named as one of this year’s recipients of the Mansmith Market Masters Awards (MMMA) for inspiring and mentoring young Filipino marketers towards excellence.
The MMMA cited one of Ms. Flaminiano’s legacy as a mentor, which is teaching and emphasizing the value of excellence as an everyday habit, alongside focused innovative thinking. This has led to record-breaking achievements among her mentees.
Now on its 5 th year, the Mansmith Market Masters Awards (MMMA) honors outstanding senior marketing executives who have mentored members of their teams toward both professional and personal excellence. Because of their mentorship, their mentees became the recipients of the Mansmith Young Market Masters Awards (YMMA), a recognition program for marketers and entrepreneurs 35 years old and below in the Philippines. Only past YMMA winners can nominate their mentors for the MMMA.
Ms. Flaminiano was nominated for the award by NutriAsia Senior Marketing Manager Gretchen King, a 2016 Mansmith YMMA winner and one of her outstanding mentees.
“Excellence has always been at the heart of who we are as a company,” Ms. Flaminiano said of her proudly Filipino company well known for its leading iconic brands of condiments, sauces, and cooking oils. When she assumed the presidency of NutriAsia in 2012, one of her early priorities was to introduce the company’s MERIT values of Malasakit, Excellence, Respect, Ingenuity with Integrity, and Teamwork, which are now very much embedded in the company’s Masarap, Masaya work culture.
This year’s Market Masters’ Awardees will be honored at the 14th Mansmith Market Masters Conference to be held on May 17, 2023 at SMX Manila.
