CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Three suspects, including a nurse, were collared Monday in separate drug buy busts here that netted a total of 65 grams of illegal drugs worth P440,000.
Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) nabbed a certain “Bro,” the 22-year-old nursing fresh graduate, during a buy bust in his rented pad in Lapasan, this city.
Lawyer Nolan Gadia, the NBI team leader, said that about 60 grams of Shabu (Methamphetamine Hydrochloride) valued at P 406,000 were recovered in the suspect’s rented pad.
“We are not disclosing the true name of “Bro” at the moment because the NBI is pursuing the alleged source of the Shabu,” Gadia said.
He said that the suspect was reportedly the supplier of local client-users, most of them call center agents and medical workers.
In a separate entrapment, the local police arrested two construction workers and seized about 5 grams of Shabu worth P 34,000.
Police identified the suspects as Ariel Gilbolingo and Paul Christian Tesara, both also residentd of Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.
Law enforcers said that charges with violation of the comprehensive anti-illegal drug act were readied against the suspects. -0-
