CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – A top official from the Philippine Consulate in New York said yesterday that Northern Mindanao has a lot to offer to the world during the welcome party held at the City Hall, sponsored by the city and Misamis Oriental.
His Excellency Senen T. Mangalile, consul general of the Philippine Consulate in New York revealed that Northern Mindanao has lots of riches to offer to investors during the “VIP Tour” delegation from the United States.
The VIP Tour delegation, the consul general said, is composed of 223 businessmen, travellers and investors from many states in the United States including Chicago, Hawaii, Florida, Guam, and New York who plan to invest in Northern.
The VIP Tour was the result of a recent tourism campaign spearheaded by Misamis Oriental Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia and his team of delegation headed by ABC President Liga ng Barangay President Robert de Lara, and supported by the different mayors who also personally joined the team during their US Tour, in which they presented Kuyamis Festival showcasing their tribal dances in the streets of New York.
Consul Mangalile thanked everyone who were very hospitable and very welcoming since the VIP Tour delegation arrived at the airport in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental. ##
