CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY- The National Irrigation Administration X (NIA X) undertakes its Ushering Ceremony bannering “NIA Para sa Progresibong Pilipinas” on January 9, 2023 at the agency compound.
NIA X Regional Manager Leonila E. Tenestrante led the ceremony together with Admin and Finance Division Manager Sharon S. Baiza, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Remegio B. Ang, NIA X’s top management and workforce.
RM Tenestrante in her message, emphasized the new beginning, the time to start with new hopes, desires, expectations, and New Year resolutions.
“Let us put together in looking forward in striving for a better and more enriching year ahead wherein our efforts and hard work to kickstart our project implementation and operation this year”, she added.
She reminded all the employees to acknowledge the greater things and opportunities that the Agency has given and be of service to the stakeholders at all times.
Ushering 2023 is annually celebrated simultaneously across all NIA offices in the expression of its gratitude towards the agency, farmers (stakeholders), and the nation.
The NIA Gratitude Wall as the final output of the activity is an expression of the employees’ appreciation to the agency and continually strive to succeed as One Agency, One NIA.
It will bring the agency unity in creating a masterpiece that will describe how thankful and grateful we are to the Agency. This obra maestra will be called “Agyamanak Iti Padanum”, an Ilocano sentence that means “Thank you, Irrigation”. It is a symbol of unity and gratitude to the Agency as it transforms the lives of the Filipino people.
Simultaneously, the Irrigation Management Offices of Bukidnon (BIMO), Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental and Camiguin (LAMISCA) and Lanao del Sur participated in the aforementioned spearheaded by their respective IMO managers.
