( MSU AS ONE) System President Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno lead the Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Agreement on the extension of College of Law to MSU-Maguindanao, MSU Sulu, and MSU TCTO campus on November 29, 2022 at MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology Present during the signing were members of the Presidential Advisory Council Committee ,MSU-TCTO Chancellor Dr. Mary Joyce Guinto-Sali , Dr Bai Hejira Nefertiti Sinsuat-Macalandomg Limbona Chancellor of MSU-Maguindanao and MSU-Sulu Chancellor Prof. Nagder J. Abdurahman . Witnessing the signing of MOU is Chancellor of MSU-Buug Sultan Pangandag M. Magolama, MSU-GenSn Chancellor JD Usman Aragsi, MSU-Maigo Chancellor Atty Jamaloden A. Basar including some participants to the Academic summit.
Sinsuat said the extension of the College of Law will be offered in MSU-Maguindanao this academic year 2023-2024. Chancellor Abdurahman told the Manila Times that the opening of the proposed College of Law transpired during the 2nd day of the Ist MSU System Academic Summit that highlights the event, adding the MSU-Sulu College of Law shall be of service to the Bangsa on AY 2023-2024.
Mapupuno said the establishments extension of these three MSU campuses College of Law is in accordance with the Charter of the University System RA 1893, 3791 as amended by RA 3868) (section 6, p-2) read as : To provide for the establishment of one or more colleges like the three College of Law in MSU-Maguindanao, MSU-TCTO and MSU-sulu.
Meantime, Prof. Rabi Angkal secretary-general of BTA earlier wrote a letter to Dean college of Law Dr. Norhiba Barodi furnishing him approved copy of BTA Resolution No 243 commending MSU College of Law in Marawi City and Notre Dam University college of Law in Cotabato City for producing Ninety-Four (94) new Bangsamoro Lawyers in Recent 2020-2021 Bar Examinations.
