Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar S. Moreno has ordered the temporary ban of certain activities in beach resorts and swimming pools of hotels in the city.
In his Executive Order No. 046, the City Mayor reported such activities have resulted to undue crowding in limited spaces and threaten more covid infections.
His order came in the wake of the massive rise of covid-19 infections in the city.
Aside from beach resorts and swimming pools in hotels, the executive order also banned family reunions, birthday parties, group gatherings and organizational parties, foam parties and similar occasions.
Establishments found violating the order may face cancellation of their respective permits, the executive order said.
