MOA SIGNING. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing Between the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental Represented by Governor Peter M. Unabia and Mindanao State University at Naawan Represented by Chancellor Dr, Elnor C. Roa for the Offering of Bachelor of Science on Nursing Program

The League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) – Misamis Oriental has received numerous requests from constituents to establish programs to ensure that the healthcare system of the Province is securely in place. 

One of the clamors is an opening of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program to address the significant brain drain affecting the province. Governor Peter M. Unabia upon receipt of a resolution from the LMP on this matter, fully supports the LMP’s initiative to request the opening of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the MSU Naawan campus.

To ensure the successful implementation and launch of the program. Governor Peter M. Unabia pledged to the MSU Naawan a financial assistance amounting to Six Million Pesos (PhP 6,000, 000.00) for the initial implementation year of the program and the following year hereafter. 

As a response, Mindanao State University at Naawan announces the opening of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program for this coming academic year 2024-2025. 

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at MSU-Naawan will be offered under the extension program of MSU-Marawi. 

The first batch of students in this program will be exclusively for residents of Misamis Oriental.
