The 35th DENR Anniversary celebration culminates with Recognition of Partners and Stakesholders last June 30, 2022. DENR X acknowledge partners and stakeholders include uniformed men like the Philippine Army and the Philippine National police, Local Government Units, identified National Agencies and Civil Society Groups among other partners. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded bearing their support to the implementation of DENR 10 progams and projects.
The Mines and Geosciences Bureau X conducted a search for Outstanding Responsible Operations among mining contractors, mineral processing permit operators and Industrial Sand Gravel permit holders in region X, having an outstanding performance and compliance with rules and regulations on mine environment, mine safety and community development.
The selection committee after evaluation and deliberation based on their 2021 TSHES scorecards recognized Republic Cement Mindanao, Inc. and Holcim Resources and Development Corporation, from mining contractors category, Gravelden, Inc. and Oro NQA Enterprises Corporation, for Industrial Sand and Gravel while E & K ventures and Mamsar Construction and Corporation for Mineral Processing as awardees. All GAWAD ORO recipients garnered a rating of more than 85% in their scorecard.
A plaque of Recognition bearing their demonstrated innovation, ingenuity and outstanding responsible operations in Tenement compliance, Safety and Health, Environment, and Social Development [ TSHES ] Was awarded to each outstanding performer.
