MAROGONG, Lanao del Sur – A top-ranking official of this town announced to the media that the town received a new ambulance.
Abdulhamid A. Saronay, MENRE, on behalf of Mayor Nasif B. Maruhom said the new Nissan brand ambulance is very helpful to the people not only in Marogong but also in other neighboring towns.
“Even other pregnant women in neighboring municipalities have sought our help because our VHF radio is 24-hours,” Saronay said.
The ambulance is equipped with hospital equipment. There are also midwives, nurses and a doctor to assist every patient.
The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), Saronay said, has also poured in several projects.
One of the biggest BARMM projects is the connecting roads from Marogong to other places in Lanao Sur and Maguindanao del Norte. The project will be finished in 2025, it was learned.
It will also mean easy transportation of goods and products of both the provinces. The road network would be able to increase economic activity, Saronay said.
HOUSING PROJECTS
There is a newly finished housing project in Barangay Burakan for 50 families. Another 50 housing units are also currently under construction for the MILF combatants who have now returned to the government side.
“This housing project is also from BARMM under the active leadership of Minister Ahod Ibrahim,” Saronay said. ###-
