Mallberry Suites Business Hotel More Than Just Accommodation; A Dining Experience Will Also Matter

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – IF YOU will have the chance to visit Cagayan de Oro City for a travel, staycation, sports, convention, and business matters – your stay at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel would be a great advantage.

This is the message of invitation from Mallberry Suites Hotel general manager Evelyn O. Leandicho during an exclusive interview with Mindanao Daily News online edition.

Leandicho said the hotel now is more than just accommodation as it also offers the best delicacy in town, which also matters very much for hotel guests and travelers. The hotel has two restaurants, a spa, gym and indoor pool aside from other amenities it can offer to businessmen and professionals staying in the city for very important activities.

The hotel’s Element Spa, a wellness spa offers massage, sauna and whirlpool/hot tub for hotel guests who become tired after a day-long workshops, meeting or other activities that brought them to the ‘City of Golden Friendship.’

Other amenities of Mallberry also include a 24-hour reception, business center, concierge, elevator, free wi-fi in the lobby, a hotel bar, air-conditioned rooms, television, wifi in rooms, a wheelchair accessible hotel for person with disability (PWD) guests, and board rooms for business and executive meetings.

Mallberry is the only hotel in the city which has a K9 dog at the entrance to make sure the stay of its guest is safe and sound.

A dining experience at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel also matters as the hotel also serves delicious food and mouth-watering food preparations from top chefs in the country.

Among the best sellers at its Rosso Steakhouse restaurant and Blue Duck Bar include Rib Eye Mini, Grilled Blue Marlin, Mushroom Trifolati Pasta, Zucchini Pasta and Chicken Picatta.  

Nikki Dee, one of the hotel’s guests said “Try their Rib Eye Mini and Grilled Blue Marlin. Their Grilled Blue Marlin’s sauce is crazy! Too delicious.”

MALLBERRY ACCESSIBILITY TO THE MALLS

The hotel manager also said the hotel is very accessible to Robinsons and Limketkai Malls. In fact, Mallberry is just a stone’s throw to one of the biggest malls in Mindanao.

“This is also the reason many hotel guests choose Mallberry because of the hotels accessibility to the mall. They want to stay in our hotel because they can easily go to the mall in minutes and do some shopping and mall hopping activities,” she said.

MALLBERRY SOARS HIGH IN 2019

During an interview, Leandicho also said 2019 was very promising year for Mallberry as it also soared high as far as hotel accommodation. The hotel was always fully booked because also of the help of its partners – Agoda.com and Expedia.com.ph, two of the very prominent hotel accommodation bookers online.

“Our hotel guests come from all over the Philippines and even abroad. We have a lot of foreigners who stayed here in 2019 and with that we are very thankful for their patronage. We hope that for this year they will also come back and still choose to stay with us.”

The hotel manager also added that a lot of construction moguls, and executives stayed at Mallberry in the past years especially during the start of ‘construction boom’ in the city in the past few years.

Meanwhile, Mallberry Suites and Business Hotel was also adjudged as one of the three “Best Hotel Industry Leaders” during the recently concluded 8th Mindanao Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs Awards” held at Limketkai Luxe Hotel on December 13, 2019.

The said event was consistently organized by Mindanao Daily News Corporation, purposely to recognize companies, entities and leaders’ outstanding performance which contributed to greater develoment in Mindanao. ###
