These parties that forge alliance include PDP-Laban, Partido ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), Nationalista Party (NP) National People’s Coalition (NPC) National Unity Party (NUP Lakas -CMD and People’s Reform Party (PRP).

Ranque said: “The alliance is getting stronger and we are waiting for the official announcement of  Mayor Sara until October.”

He said in case Mayor Inday Sara decides to join the Presidential race the existing political alliances will rally behind her.

But Mayor Sara clarified she will stay with Hugpong ng Pagbabago and Hugpong Tawong Lungsod and she don’t intend to join any national political party.

Ranque recalled that HNP was already accredited by the Commission on Elections in 2018 as a regional party.

The Masada convenor cited Comelec Resolution 10695, which says that “current registered party has until August 15th to submit a sworn information update status (SIUS) to register any coalition.

“ Mayor Sara will be the unifying incoming President,” the Masada convenor told news reporters.

Masada is a multi-sectoral movement seeking for the project continuity of the incumbent administration of President Rodrigo Duterte. It also aims to attract a nation-wide support from different sectors in the countryside.
