The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform, thru the Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division (PPMED), conducted training for the designated planning officers for the Regional and Provincial levels.
On October 7-8, a two-day training was held at Em Manor Hotel and was attended with 20 planners from the ministry.
PPMED Chief Amador O. Tandalong said the training’s main objective is to train the planning officers of MAFAR to acquaint knowledge on planning to provide the most efficient way of delivering services and increase the economic status among Bangsamoro people.
“We have a major role in our Bangsamoro community,” said MAFAR Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D.
“We are expecting that through this training we are capable of producing concrete output and data to be used in our office to equip our services. All the knowledge you have acquired from this training will be our way to help the Bangsamoro farmers and fishers,” Minister Yacob emphasizes.
The training highlights topics are the Basics of Planning, Essential Planning skills, Attitude and knowledge of planners, Technical Inputs on Work and Financial Plan, Project Procurement Management Plan, Legal Basis Purpose and Processes, and the Project Procurement Management Plan.
