MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon: A province wide manhunt was launched Thursday against a lone suspect who held up a lending firm here and carted way P430,000 in cash.
Pol. LtCol. Jerry Tambis, of the Malaybalay City Police Station, identified the firm as the Lils Lending Shop located at Carbajal St., Talatala Building, Malaybalay City.
He said that at gunpoint, the suspect held the three employees of the lending firm at a time when the shop was about to close.
Jason C. Quimat, 25, the cashier of the firm, said that the lone suspect entered while the shop was
about to close and declared a hold up at gunpoint to the three lending workers.
Tambis said that the police investigators could not find clues at the robbery scene for the lack of close circuit cameras and the absence of a security guard.
Witnesses, however, described the suspect as a male wearing a dirty white jacket, blue maong pants and light color shoes.
Use said that the suspect reportedly drove an XRM125 color gray/black motorcycle as the getaway vehicle. -0-
