Locals say LDS’ gov’t services exhibit brings convenience

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)–After the provincial government of Lanao del Sur launched its week-long exhibit of government services running from July 11 to 15 amid the one-month celebration of 63rd Araw ng Lanao del Sur, constituents of the province conveyed that they found such an initiative convenient on their end.

Ahmad Dipatuan who is a resident of Marawi came by the caravan to get a police clearance.

He shared that he processed it smoothly considering he did it personally and with assistance as compared to the online application when many requisites are still asked.

[This is more convenient for the constituents to apply. It is easier to find the services of the government here… We are struggling online because it is like they would still get other requirements and amount, that is why we opted to apply here in the centralized office so that someone will assist. Thank you for the service that was provided to us.]

Paez Hamzah, also a resident of Marawi, underscored how he enjoyed the accessibility of getting a police clearance for employment purposes.

Thank you so much for the services,” he said.

[This is easy access because all different agencies are here. We only go to one place. Access is difficult if they are separated… Thank you so much for the services.]

Another resident, Amen Sultan Abdulmalic, highlighted the time and money he was able to save in obtaining a clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for his passport application.

He said that without the said caravan involving the NBI, he would have been compelled to travel to Iligan City where the nearest office of the bureau is situated.

[It is more wonderful if there is something like this here so that we will not have a hard time going to Iligan… Thank you because there is something like this here which is just seldom only but of great help to everyone.]
