Chairperson of the Regional Development Council Northern Mindanao (RDC-X) Chairperson and Lanao del Norte Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo takes oath as new member of the Board of Directors of the Mindanao Development Authority (MindDA)Thursday, February 23, 2023.
Governor Angging took her oath administered by Judge Nanette Gustilo Lemana prior to the 14th Meeting of the MinDA Board of Directors and Organizational Meeting held in Acacia Hotel, Davao City.
MinDA Chairperson Sec. Maria Belen S. Acosta presided over the meeting where 12 members of the MinDA Board of Directors are gathered presently composed of the Chairpersons of Mindanao Regional Development Councils (RDCs), including Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The meeting aims to discuss and pass resolutions and policies that are aligned with the 8-Point Socio-Economic Agenda of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the sustainable socio-economic development of Mindanao.
In the meeting, the Mindanao Socio-Economic Development Report, Proposed Strategic Priorities for Mindanao, and Ongoing and Proposed Priority Programs and Projects in Mindanao under MinDA’s initiatives are carefully deliberated.
Governor Angging, along with other members of the board proposed other development priorities for Mindanao-wide and/or Mindanao-specific inter-regional plans, programs, projects, and activities.
“I would like to thank the Mindanao Development Authority for steadfastly supporting us in our pursuit of attaining sustainable and inclusive growth for Northern Mindanao,” Gov. Angging said.
