CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The political alliance of the Padayon Pilipino and the Centrist for Democratic of the Philippines (CDP) on Thursday officially adopted Pompee Laviña as the standard bearer of the mayoral candidate in Cagayan de Oro City.
City Councilor Jocelyn Bebot Rodriguez, of the CDP, was nominated as the running mate.
Both Laviña and Rodriguez were considered as Padayon Pilipino guest candidates.
For Congress: First District Lourdan Suan and incumbent Rep. Rufus Rodriguez for the second district.
The lineup for the city councilors of the alliance political party has yet to be announced.
Village Chief Pedro Balite who spearheaded the manifesto to support Rodriguez nomination as standard bearer, said he has not committed support for Pompee Laviña candidacy but he will not also support the opponent. -0-
