LAGUINDINGAN, Misamis Oriental (PIA)–Laguindingan’s most wanted person at the municipal level was arrested during the conduct of a joint manhunt operation between Maguing Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Laguindingan MPS at Barangay Bolao, Maguing, Lanao del Sur, January 2.
The tracker team of Laguindingan MPS-Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (MORPPO) successfully made the arrest of Ronito Gumira Cabañiros, 52, a farmer and resident of Barangay Bolao.
Cabañiros was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery with violence against or intimidation of a person docketed under Criminal Case No. 2003-541, with a bail bond recommended and fixed in the amount of P100,000.
MORPPO Chief Gonzalo Villamor Jr. praised the operating personnel for doing a good job with Letter of Instructions (LOI) Manhunt Charlie. He also told the operating personnel to keep working hard to get rid of all kinds of crime in the province and to keep re-energizing the anti-crime campaign.
The suspect is now being held at the Laguindingan Municipal Police Station for booking and proper disposition. (Laguindingan MPS/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
