Kaamulan Festival 2023 opens in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon

MALAYBALAY CITY – This year’s “Kaamulan Festival” in Bukidnon is now open with lots of funfares and activities for visitors and guests to enjoy the month-long commemoration.

And yes as usual, the yearly opening of the festival of the authentic tribal natives showcasing diverse cultures of the province was held in Malaybalay City, the heart of the province of Bukidnon, on March 25, 2023, and it will also end on April 25.

The provincial government, according to reports, has allocated a multi-million budget for a lot of scheduled events. As for the most-awaited street dancing on April 22, there will only be 3 contingents but organizers say that all Bukidnon 7 hill tribes will accordingly be represented via street dancers from other municipalities who will be present that day.

This is the start of the month-long celebration of the most authentic tribal festival in the Philippines!

The opening of the Kaamulan Festival 2023 was participated in by no less than Governor Oneil Roque , Vice Gov Clive Quino, Cong Joeman Alba and LGU Bukidnon Mayors, Tribal Datus and officials.

How to go to Bukidnon via plane?

Actually, if you think of going to the main venue in Malaybalay City via plane, there are no commercial flights going directly to Malaybalay City, and the province of Bukidnon. The nearest airport is Laguindingan Airport in Cagayan de Oro City, catering to domestic flights from Manila and Cebu. From Cagayan de Oro City, you need to take a bus to take you to Malaybalay City in Bukidnon.
