CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – It’s Official! Presidentiable Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is the official candidate of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP Laban) in next year’s elections.
As this developed, the PDP Laban Cusi wing passed resolution no. 26, series of 2022, officially endorsing Marcos as their official bearer.
Among the criteria considered by the party include Marcos’ agenda of government which is the same with the administration of President Duterte, the chief of PDP Laban.
The party also considered Marcos’s endorsements from different local councils of PDP Laban, including La Union, Bataan,Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Rizal, Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Norte, Masbate, Aklan, Negros Occidental, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Zamboanga del Sur, Davao del Sur, North Cotabato, Caloocan City, Malabon City, Mandalyuong City, Parañaque City, San Juan City, Valenzuela City, Malolos City, Ormoc City, and San Pedro City.
The also claimed Bongbong’s platform is most alligned with the development program of President Duterte.
The said resolution also confirmed their official endorsement of Sara Duterte as the official running mate of Marcos as his vice presidential candidate.
The resolution was officially signed by Alfonso Cusi, the concurrent national president of PDP Laban.
