To give the new officers of the district and the club presidents a chance to know up close and personal the incoming District Governor, a “Meet and Greet” was arranged right after the Presidents Elect Training Seminar (PETS).
The event was again hosted by the Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro, the club of the District Governor Elect Gilda “Gigi” Go.
At the MEET AND GREET, the presidents elect and the assistant governors enjoyed the opportunity to connect with old friends and forge new friendships with new acquaintances.
The Rotarians were serenaded by no less than PDG Manny Along, known for being an excellent balladeer. Singing, dancing, food, and prizes made the event even more fun and enjoyable.
The District Governor Elect Gilda “Gigi” Go thanked the participants for the success of both the Presidents Elect Training Seminar and the “Meet and Greet.”
“Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro for the success of both the PETS and the MEET and GREET!,” the incoming District Governor said.
