Architect Romolo Nati has been asked to join a panel at the Central Visayas Business Conference 2021 to discuss about “Opportunities in the Region and the Philippines”. The event is a digital conference that will be held of Thursday September 30th and is presented by Olacon Events, co-presented by FedEx and Opascor, in partnership with Cebu Chamber, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, the German Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the French Chamber of Commerce and Advantage Austria. Speakers include, among others, Cebu City Acting Mayor Mike Rama, Bohol Governor Arthur Yap, European Delegation Head for Trade Maurizio Cellini and Cebu Chamber President Felix Taguiam. Cebu City, the Philippine’s first capital and definitely the country’s creative hub with it’s various manufacturing facilities for furniture, home accessories and jewelery, has been feeling the pinch of the pandemic, and is preparing for it’s bounce back to the limelight where it belongs. The speakers will speak about the current situation, examine existing scenarios and especially highlight potential opportunities. The panel discussion will shed the light on some sectors like tourism and real estate which hold the biggest potential for the post covid era. Together with other enlightened business leaders, Architect Nati, Chairman and CEO of Italpinas Development Corporation, will share his experience about how he was able to set up his company in the Philippines and how he invested in the provinces to build sustainable green developments and how this phylosophy has now played out very well in light of the past 18 months and the trends that developed and accelerated as a consequence of the economic and personal restrictions of the lockdowns.
