ICPO, partners conduct Duterte Legacy Caravan anew

ILIGAN CITY–The Iligan City Police Office (ICPO) in collaboration with various national government agencies and private organizations delivered basic services and programs closer to the people through the Duterte Legacy Caravan held at Camp Tomas Cabili, Barangay Tipanoy on April 28.

“The presence of various government agencies and other NGOs to provide services available directly to the people, not just through their offices, emphasized the government programs, policies, accomplishments, and efforts that have brought real change to the lives of the Filipino people,” said ICPO City Director Police Colonel Dominador Estrada.

Estrada also stressed that everyone has something to contribute to society, thus, collaborative efforts with both government and non-government organizations bring more comprehensive services to the populace.

Meanwhile, in honor of the Duterte administration’s accomplishments, Department of Interior and Local Government City Director Edward Bhagwani recalled the Filipino’s right decision last 2016 elections.

“We made history atong 2016 when we chose our president. I would like you to be refreshed with the thought nga gikan sa 2016 hangtod karon, dili maihap ang accomplishments ani nga administration [that from 2016 to now, the accomplishments by the administration ar innumerable]” he said.

Among the government agencies that collaborated are the Department of Labor and Employment, Philippine Information Agency, Technical Education And Skills Development Authority, and City Social Welfare Development.

Private organizations from Junior Chamber International Kulintang, Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, Rotary Club of Iligan South, and Rotary Club of Iligan Maria Cristina also wholeheartedly took the opportunity to extend their services to the populace. They all ensured their commitment to uphold their principles and continue to deliver services to people for development. (ASK/PIA)
