Hospital in Iligan provides real-time situational awareness

THE city government of Iligan has started the operation of its One Hospital Command Center (OHCC) in a bid to have a resilient and responsive healthcare system in Iligan amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Dr. Belinda Lim, health cluster manager of the Emergency Operations Center, shared in a COVID-19 Virtual Presser said: “Our One Hospital Command Center that we are trying to establish has already started and you can now call our hotline numbers.”

Lim said that OHCC was established to provide a real-time situational awareness on hospital capacity and availability of hospital beds and medical personnel in all the hospitals in Iligan.

“There is no physical structure, mura ni og call center (this is like a call center),” she said.

Lim added that the OHCC will boost the coordination between all the private and government hospitals in the city.

The OHCC hotline can be reached at 0966 760 1888 or 0995 479 1880. (APB/PIA ICIC)
