Health Minister thanks media, stakeholders

COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Health – BARMM has convened with various government media, private media, and developmental stakeholders to strengthen partnership and provide comprehensive information to the region on Wednesday.

The partnership was formally launched at Glamour Convention Hall through a “Pasasalamat sa media and stakeholders” to reaffirm their commitment to work together to ensure the delivery of information to the Bangsamoro public.

According to Minister Rizaldy L. Piang,MD, each partner has an important role in the next year’s polls. “Our partners play important roles in times of crucial dissemination of information. From various media and developmental partners, we are extremely grateful and delighted to have you and your entities as part of our family in this challenging but fulfilling endeavor.”

Saida Diocolano-Ali added that the partnership of MOH-BARMM and various media and developmental partners is a step towards a more informed and transformative program that will decide the region’s future.

“I have no doubt that we as partners can work together not only to deliver timely and relevant news and fight disinformation but to encourage discussions on relevant issues and empower the Bangsamoro people to make their lives better through us” she explained.

Dr. Ahmad-Fawadz Israel, Director II for the Public Health Bureau, on the other hand, expressed gratitude to HPU and CMU for the initiative, saying it helps ensure the success of the office.

Philippine News Agency contributor Edwin Fernandez said, “We are one in supporting all MOH’s programs and activities in any effort to ensure the delivery of news in the region.”

Sharing the same vision with the MOH-BARMM Community and Family Services International including other developmental partners said in unison“This initiative of MOH with its partners, with us, is very significant and in fact very critical. The people deserve the right information so that we can be empowered to become more discerning.”

Through the joint efforts of MOH-BARMM with various partners, the Bangsamoro people can look forward to an orderly and comprehensive news coverage about the ministry’s programs and implementation.

In the same activity, the Healthy Bangsamoro, a localized version of Healthy Pilipinas, is also highlighted, where it aims to provide accurate, culturally contextualized, and up to date information about health, illness, diseases and wellness to all Bangsamoro people.

Other officials attended the activity Dr. Abdulhalik M. Kasim, Assistant Secretary for Health, Dr. Tato Usman, Director II for Operations Bureau, Laxaman Bangcola, Director II for Admin and Finance, Dr. Alexander Ampatuan, OIC Chief Technical Division, Anisa Matuan, Chief of Planning Division.
