Governor Go appoints Pol Balandra as Assistant Governor for Zone 1

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Rotary International District 3870 Governor-elect Gilda “Gigi” Go has appointed HIPOLITO “POL” BALANDRA of the Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro, as Assistant Governor for RY 2023-2024.

“MEET ASSISTANT GOVERNOR HIPOLITO “POL” BALANDRA. AG Pol was President of the Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro for Rotary year 2020-2021.

He worked at Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) as Assistant Vice President from August 1991 to present.  AG Pol holds an Accounting & Finance Degree from Capitol University.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Rotary is an international service organization that aims to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards, and promote goodwill and peace worldwide. In addition to club support and membership growth, an Assistant Governor plays a key role in strategic planning for their district. They are responsible for ensuring that clubs are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of Rotary International and that they are working together to achieve these goals. Finally, an Assistant Governor is responsible for developing leadership within their district.
