WASHINGTON, United States (MDN Internationan News) – A top Government Offial yesterday confirmed the first coronavirus death in the country following the death of a man from Washigton who was earlier detected positive of the deadly virus.
Governor Jay Inslee released a statement to the media confirming the death of Washington state man from the deadly strain covid-19.
"It is a sad day in our state as we learn that a Washingtonian has died from Covid-19. Our hearts go out to his family and friends, the governor said, adding that the man who died was in his 50s and he lives in King County.
The governor also reported two new cases of patients associated with LifeCare nursing facility in Kirkland, King County, Washington.
The first cases was a woman in her 40s but she is currently on a satisfactory condition at Overlake Hospital. She has no known travel outside of the United States, report said.
The governor reported that the second case was a woman in her 70s and a resident of LifeCare. She is now on serious condition, Islee said in a statement.
