MISAMiS ORIENTAl – In a recent meeting brimming with purpose and compassion, Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) joined forces to launch a comprehensive plan for medical missions targeting 500 registered coconut farmers in Misamis Oriental. The collaborative effort focuses on logistics, resource allocation, budgeting, and fostering cooperation to weave a tapestry of unity and commitment.
The central aim of this partnership is to address the healthcare needs of Misamis Oriental’s dedicated coconut farmers, in line with the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act.
Governor Unabia’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of coconut farmers aligns perfectly with PCA’s mission to promote the growth and sustainability of the coconut industry in the Philippines. By working hand in hand, the two entities aim to create a more secure and supportive environment for the farmers who play an integral role in the region’s agricultural landscape.
The collaborative efforts will ensure that the medical missions are well-planned and efficiently executed, catering to the specific healthcare needs of the coconut farmers.
As the plan for these medical missions takes shape, Misamis Oriental’s coconut farmers can look forward to a brighter, healthier future, through Governor Unabia’s Paglaum Development Agenda, they will not be left behind on this journey towards unity, commitment, and better healthcare.
