A POPULAR SHOW, “Got Talent” Filipino champion died Friday morning after being comatose for five days. Baldevino was 29 at the time of his demise.

Jovit Baldivino was ABS CBN’s first grand winner when the TV network acquired the franchise of one of the world’s singing reality shows in 2010.

The immediate family released an official statement through Abs Cbn, it said that the young singer was recuperating from hypertension maintenance medicines when a family friend contacted him to perform in an event in Batangas.

Camille Ann Miguel, Baldivino’s fiancé said the family’s attending physician had advised the singer not to accept the invitation since he was still recuperating but Jovit instead attended the event and sung three of his famous songs, such as his famous version of “Faithfully.”

The singer was reported gasping for breath when he sang the third song. After an hour, his face was suddenly deformed accompanied with flowing saliva. The singer was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment on December 3, 2022 at around 10 p.m.

Baldevino’s CTscan manifested a blood clot in his brain, according to his attending physician at Nazareth of Jesus Hospital.

On December 4 around 2 a.m., Jovit’s attending physician suctioned 100 cc of blood but the singer went comatose for exactly 5 days before he passed away, the statement said.

Baldivino’s friend and fellow singer, Limuel Llanes, announced to his followers in both Facebook and Youtube to help the young singer financially and offer prayers for the repose of his soul.

His recordings of “Faithfully” and “Too Much Love Will Kill You” got the whole support from his fans and the young singer then became an instant hit record bars, AM and FM stations nationwide.

The singer, Jovit Baldivino of Lipa, Batangas was a siomai vendor prior to his singing career. His rise to stardom started after winning the Abs Cbn network’s “Got Talent” back in 2010.
