​​​​​​​Gazini Ganados: Bb Pilipinas Universe 2019 hails from Talisay Cebu

 

METRO MANILA (MDN National News, June 10) – The Philipines has chosen a dazzling lass with Latina looks from Talisay, Cebu to represent the country in Miss Universe international beauty pageant.

Out of 40 hopefuls from different cities and provinces of the country, Gazini Christiana Ganados from Talisay, Cebu Province had successfully grabbed the coveted crown as the 2019 Bb Pilipinas Universe in last night's beauty tilt held at Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

Fellow Cebuana Samantha Ashley Lo of Cebu City was also crowned Bb. Pilipinas – Grand International. Unfortunately, another Cebuana who was also a crowd favorite, Ms Ilene De Vera of Mandaue City did not make it to the top 25. 

Others winners of the 2019 Bb Pilipinas were: Bea Patricia Magtanong, Bb Pilipinas International; Resham Ramirez Saeed, Bb Pilipinas Supranational; Emma Mary Tiglao, Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental; Leren Mae Bautista, Bb Pilipinas Globe; Maria Andrea Abesamis, 1st Runner Up; and Samantha Mae Bernardo, 2nd Runner Up. 

In an interview with reporters, Gazini's fans said that from the moment she grabbed other special awards such as Miss Photogenic and Best in Long Gown, they have already felt the the Cebuana lass will bring home the most prestigious crown.

Before he was chosen Bb Pilipinas Miss Universe, the 21-year-old Tourism graduate also grabbed the second most likes on the tilt next to Vickie Rushton of Negros Occidental. 

Ganados was also the early crowd favorite with her Latina looks that really captivated the Facebook fans and the coronation night guests and participants.

During the question and answer, she emphasized her advocacy will be focused on helping the elderly, adding that the elderly people have a very special place in her heart, the reason that she will devote most of her time helping the elderly during her reign as Bb Pilipinas Universe.

Bobby Barreiro, ABS CBN's Integrated Events Head and one of those judges asked her: “If you win the crown tonight, what will you do to get more women in the workplace?” Gazini also answered very smart: “If I win the crown tonight, what I do is to promote my advocacy. My advocacy is for us women to fight for our rights and for the elderly women and for us to know that someone is loving us, someone is pushing us to whatever ambitions that we have.” 

She also added: “We will be able to rise from our decisions, to whatever dreams that we have, goals that we have, and we will achieve it because of those values, those wisdoms that they gave us. Thank you.” 

The Philippines right now has three title holders for Miss Universe namly Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015) and Catriona Gray (2018).
