“Leadership is the key. It is vital. It is everything,” Galvez said during the inauguration and blessing of the Lanao del Norte COVID-19 testing laboratory.
He said that a collective leadership provides an impact in implementing policies and protocols to respond against the COVID-19. He also noted that great division in an administration creates challenges.
“Kapag merong division sa mga area, hati-hati. Ginagawa ang Covid-19 bilang politika. Ang ginagawa ng isang leader sinisiraan ang isa,” he added.

Galvez remarked that when a leader has a focused strategic direction, “he is able to empower and inspire people.”
Galvez also commended the efforts of the Lanao del Norte provincial government in establishing the first local government-operated COVID-19 testing laboratory in Northern Mindanao.
NTF-COVID-19 also provided the laboratory personnel with 2,500 surgical and KN95 face masks. He also reiterated the commitment of the government in assisting the provinces in flattening the curve of COVID-19. (LELA/ PIA ICIC)
