No one could ever claim that the deceased Franz Sabalones was a BIG TIME druglord in Central Visayas until he confessed to President Duterte that he was such.
With his simple clothing everyday, he is just an ordinary man in the street, wearing a plane white T-shirt, a ball cap on his head, and a pair of ordinary, black denim jeans.

Self confessed druglord Franz Sabalones' name surfaced in the media when President Duterte assumed office and declared a bloody war against the illegal drug trade in the country.
Sabalones and his brother Frals Sabalones, who was then the Vice-Mayor of their hometown in San Fernando, Pampanga surrendered to President Duterte and confessed that he was a bigtime druglord operating in Central Visayas, while his brother wanted to clear his name as among those included drug protectora and drug personalities in the first narcolist made public by police authorities.
President Duterte accepted Franz surrender motive when the brothers personally met the president and then Sabalones started to name government officials and some top-ranking police officers in the Visayas that reportedly under his payola. His implications of these alleged protectors got the ire of those names of top PNP officials he whispered to the president, and some threatened to sue Sabalones.
Sabalones revelation resulted to the revamp in the PNP hierarchy in the Visayas, and some of those tagged as drug protector police officers were even transfrerred in Mindanao during the PNP reign of senatoriable General Ronald "Bato" Delarosa
Govt freezed Sabalones 350 Million total assets
When the self-confessed druglord was shot dead in Quezon City while embarking at a billiard joint, he left over P350 Million in total assets: P76 Million of the money was deposited in his personal bank accounts while the rest are properties, including his six Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), a 6.4 hectare poultry farm and a beach resort in San Fernando.
The government freezed all the assets of the self-confessed druglord in the Visayas while investigation is still being conducted to verify why a mere traffic enforcer in Cebu City became a multi-millionaire in a span of five years.
If found guilty that his money came from illegal drug trade and other illegal businesses, an agency like AMLC is going to sequester all of his assets in favor of the government….TO BE CONTINUED
