CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – First District Atty. Lordan Suan has received an award from a foundation as an “Outstanding Public Servant on yesterday.
His award showcases his proven and tested style of public governance. “We thank all the people who supported me through all this journey as a first-termer representative of this city to the Lower House.
The award, which the young congressman received, came from RPMD Foundation, Inc. presented to him by DJ Villanueva, Ivan Vargas, Jeff Espina, and Andy Cruz, it was learned.
During a press conference in Cagayan de Oro City yesterday, Suan was asked to comment on the recent alliances of Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex” Uy and Congressman Rufus Rodriguez of the 2nd District, and he answered straight, saying “It does not affect my and my group when I heard the alliance of two veteran politicians,” he pointed.
Congressman Suan also said he also welcomes alliances with Pompee Laviña who is also reported to be running for mayor again in the upcoming 2025 National and Local elections.
The young congressman also hinted possible alliance with the group of former Mayor Oscar Moreno, who has also confirmed his comeback as mayoralty candidate.
“Welcome man usab kita sa possible alliance with other political groups like that of Pompee Laviña and the group of mayor Oscar Moreno,” he told the media.
PRESIDENT’S SUPPORT
It is noted that Cong Lordan Suan could be the bet of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr for Lordan’s re-election as congressman of the First District of this city.
During the president’s Serbisyo Caravan in the city, Suan became the president’s point man who helped in the preparation of the president’s activities and different schedules. The president’s visit in the city was very successful through the congressman’s help and well-planned preparations.
