Duterte Legacy Caravan held on Labor Day

ILIGAN CITY (PIA) –-The Iligan City Police Office (ICPO) together with the 55th Engineer Brigade of the Philippine Army, PNP-Maritime, Special Action Force, Brgy Tipanoy and Kiwalan Council, Amai Pakpak Hospital, Department of Labor and Employment, Volunteers in Service, JCI Kulintang and JCI Dayangdayang held another Duterte Legacy Caravan at the City Public Plaza on Labor Day. Some 250 indigent families from different barangays received grocery packs consisting of three kilos of rice, canned goods, noodles and beverages from ICPO. ICPO also gave 100 slippers to children and 80 drawing materials through their mobile library.  

The Philippine Army and the PNP Special Action Force provided free haircut services and circumcision for kids.  

The Volunteers in Service (VIS) with the Philippine Army and the PNP Special Action Force also conducted circumcision for 153 kids and gave out free medicines to 153 people. The Amai Pakpak Hospital conducted a bloodletting activity.

The Department of Labor and Employment held a One-Stop-Shop Caravan for its services at Robinsons Place, Barangay Tubod which benefited about 700 people.  

Moreover, the JCI Kulintang and JCI Dayangdayang also gave ice cream and bread to more than 300 people. (LELA/ PIA Lanao del Norte)
