CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – With the clamor of city residents for “ayuda,” the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-10) has fast-tracked the arrival of food packs in this city.
The food packs are to be given to residents in Cagayan de Oro, including areas declared by the IATF national as ECQ areas. particularly Gingoog City, and Cagayan de Oro.
“It was learned that CDO registered the highest number of Covid-19 positive in Northern Mindanao, with a daily virus contraction of over a hundred patients since July 22.
The DSWD said there are a total of 49,344 family food packs that have been delivered to the regional office and they are now ready for distribution in Cagayan de Oro and Gingoog City.
Earlier, the city of Gingoog received a total of 10,000 food packs shipped by the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB) of DSWD Field Office 7 in Central Visayas.
