DILG MisOcc awards Officers, paves way for 2nd sem CY 2022

MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL (PIA)–Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Misamis Occidental, together with DILG-10 management conducted the provincial mid-year assessment of Locally Funded Projects (LFPs) and other Departments’ Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and Target Setting on July 5-7, 2022 at Pinegrove Mountain Lodge, Barangay Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

Provincial Director Pablio L. Benitez, Jr., emphasized the need to maintain and further strengthen the synergy of the Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahang Kagawaran personnel of DILG Misamis Occidental.

“The main purpose of this activity is to assess our performance over the last six months, to come up with strategies on how to further improve our performance, and to award the Top 3 performing DILG Field Officers. This is also an avenue to have a kamustahan. I emphasize this all the time to remind ourselves, and I quote, if you know each other, half of the work is done,” Benitez added.

This mid-year provincial meeting aims to present the status report and updates of LFPs and each section/department’s priority PPAs, assess the implementation and results of these PPAs during the 1st half of CY 2022, discuss Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) Performance Rating, provide technical assistance on the new Bulleting Board System (BBS), and discuss target setting of goals and objectives for the rest of the year.

Meanwhile, Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe and Assistant Regional Director Yvette Tolentino-Sunga graced the activity to provide guidance and address issues and concerns.

On the other hand, the top three Performing DILG Field Officers  of Misamis Occidental for the 1st Semester of CY 2022 include MLGOO Harold Buscaino of DILG Plaridel, MLGOO Faith Constantino of DILG Calamba, and OIC-MLGOO Roy O. Vicente of DILG Sapang Dalaga.

Amid the awarding ceremony, Cluster Head Sanivier G. Patoc reminded the awardees saying ”There is no way for us to go down. Everybody should have the same direction of going to the top, and those who are on top shall be challenged to sustain his/her performance in order to remain on top.
