BUKIDNON (PIA)–After a series of successful project surveys conducted in Barangay Kiulom, Kitaotao, Bukidnon, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bukidnon Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) Team together with DILG Kitaotao Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Valentin Alpas, attended a dialogue and consultation initiated by the Local Government of Kitaotao, August 4.
The dialogue aims to present the results of the survey and to discuss any possible issues that may occur during implementation. Barangay Kiulom will receive a total of three projects from the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF)-SBDP.
Provincial Engineering Office-Waterworks Division Head Engr. Fe Besahan presented the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Program of Works (POW) of the proposed two projects as well as the project survey results.
Meanwhile, Engr. Deneb Ganancial from the Provincial Agriculture Office (PAgrO) presented the feasible agricultural inputs for the assistance to farmers’ project.
The Barangay Council of Kiulom expressed their gratitude for the efforts of the stakeholders as the projects will greatly help their community to prosper.
“Mapasalamaton kayo mi kay gitagaan mi ninyo og importansiya. Sa kasudlonon sa among barangay, gigahinan gyud mi ninyo og oras ug panahon” said Osting Latawan, barangay kagawad of Kiulom.

Present during the activity are representatives from Kitaotao Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), Provincial Engineering Office (PEO), and Provincial Agriculture Office (PAgrO) among others, along with the Barangay Council of Barangay Kiulom.
The SBDP is among the programs implemented under Executive Order No. 70 and is part of the government’s efforts to provide financial support for the identified priority projects and programs of target barangays in order to address development gaps. (DILG-10/PIA-10/Bukidnon)
