DAVAO CITY – A devolution seminar on the administration and enforcement of zoning ordinance, processing and issuance of subdivision projects, reclassification of agricultural land (MC 54) was held from March 29-31, 2023 at Honey’s Hotel, Mati City, Davao Oriental.
Participants of the seminar included various LGUs and the members of the Local Zoning Board of Appeals (LZBA) and the Local Zoning Review Committee (LZRC).
Among the very important topics also discussed during the 3-day seminar were the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program and the JMC No. 01, series of 2021 otherwise known as the “Creation of Anti-Illegal Real Estate Practices Inter-Agency Task Force,” aimed at monitoring various illegal practices in doing real estate business.
The seminar was jointly collaborated by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) XI, headed by Regional Director Atty. Roberto Mauro Miguel T. Palma Gil; the Environmental, Land Use and Urban Planning and Development Division (ELUPDD), and the Housing and Real Estate Development Regulation Division (HREDRD) led by EnP Ryan Anthony Paran and Engr. Surita Pedrozo.
The seminar was also in partnership with the League of Local Planners and Development Coordinators of the Philippines in Davao Oriental, led by EnP. Joseph Porgatorio-City Planning and Development Coordinator of Mati.
