DAR commits P100M for CDO’s agrarian beneficiaries

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has committed the release of the P 100 million for the Farm to Market Road (FMR) intended for agrarian beneficiaries in Cagayan de Oro City.

Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, of the city’s second district, said that the amount was in addition to the P 88 million approved budget for 2023 finding committed for five barangays in the district.

Rodriguez identified the villages with validated FMR budgets as Tablon – P15 million, Cugman – P15 million, Bugo – P15 million.

Still for validation of the funds were Cugman – P23,736,000, Bugo – P15 million. 

According to Rodriguez, the additional P 100 million is intended for the following villages, Indahag – P20 million Puerto – P20 million, Bugo- P20 million, Balubal- P20 million, Gusa- P20 million.

Rodriguez said that the FMRs would served 557 agrarian reform beneficiaries with about 3,000 farmers in the city’s second district.

He said that DAR Sec. Conrado M. Estrella III has committed to provide the proposed P 100 million additional funds for the 10 villages of the districts FMR. -0-
