PNP 10 spokesman Surki Serenias told reporters that the arrest came based on a warrant issued by the 5th Division of Sandiganbayan. The former governor was reportedly arrested around 3:00 am. after he was confirmed to be living in one of his son's house in Kiabo, Claveria, a few kilometers from Malitbog town in Bukidnon province.
