BUKIDNON – The Bukidnon Transport Multipurpose Cooperative (BUKTRAMCO) in collaboration with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and the DOT has introduced 15 modern transport vehicles to the riding public.
The introduction of these modern transport vehicles in the province is part of the modernization project in the countryside.
“Kami dinhi sa Office of Transport Cooperative, under the Office of DOTr, assures you that this will not be the first modern PUV running here in the province,” Jesus Ferdinand D. Ortega, chairman, Office of Transport Cooperatives said.
He said there are more vehicles coming to the province of Bukidnon because PUVMP aims to be successful. “This is one of the priority programs of the government,” Ortega said.
Aminoden D. Guro, LTFRB-10 regional director added that the government is doing its best to modernize the transportation in the country.
“This is one of our government’s programs to modernize all public utility vehicles, replacing those dilapidated and ols jeeps, which are more than 15 years old. Some of it has even reached 30 years,” he claimed.
The LTFRB offices in the country is the lead agency in the government’s worthwhile undertakings to replace old-15-year-old transport vehicles all over the country.
The launch of this modern vehicles will provide the province with more efficiency, reliability and convenience to the riding public.
