ILIGAN CITY —– A high ranking Army official in Marawi City joined President Duterte's official delegation to Japan that arrived there Tuesday night.
Col. Romeo Brawner, Jr., commander of 103rd Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army, based in Kampo Ranao, Marawi City, joined with the president in his four-day working visit in Japan.
Duterte and his delegatiom arrived at the Haneda International Airport in Tokyo to commence his third visit to the said country.
In a viber message sent to Inquirer Tuesday night, Brawner said there was no advise yet as to their itenirary but assured he will update as soon as possible.
Brawner was the spokesperson of the former Joint Task Force (JTF) Marawi that oversaw the media releases during the Marawi siege.
When the JTF Marawi was deactivated, he took over as Regiment commander of the Civil Military Operations Group before he assumed as commander of 103rd Brigade that oversees Marawi City and Lanao del Sur.
