The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Collection District XII (Davao, Dadiangas, Parang, Mati) met with the Chamber of Customs Brokers Inc. (CCBI) Board of Directors in a courtesy call to strengthen their collaboration in enhancing trade facilitation, border protection and discussed the latest customs policies and procedures.
This is aligned with the directives of Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz’s program of increasing government revenue through heightened economic activity and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s economic agenda on public safety and security.
District Collector Erastus Sandino B. Austria discussed the Collection District’s accomplishments, strategic plans, and deliverables for the year 2023.
Collection District XII, will continue to collaborate with partner organizations to enhance trade facilitation efforts that can help boost the economic development of District XII. The courtesy visit was held last January 20, 2023.
