The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao was an exhibitor at the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII) Innovation Summit 2022 where it featured the Port’s IT and online systems last November 10-11 in Davao City.
The Port featured its CCC Kiosk, Body-Worn Camera and Trace Detection System, the Love Scam Advisory Video, Revenue Collection Performance from 2016 to the Present, BOC Fast Patrol Boats, X-ray Machine Capabilities, Document Tracking System, and Customer Care Portal System, among others.
The Innovation Summit, with the theme “Smart Sourcing in the Global Marketplace,” brought together the leading local and international government agencies, entrepreneurs, buyers and sellers, and users of disruptive, next-generation, and emerging IT and IT-enabled products and services as they exchange views and livelihood opportunities.
The BOC Davao has always been at the forefront of automating its services through the leadership of BOC Commissioner Yogi Filemon L. Ruiz and District Collector lawyer Erastus Sandino B. Austria.
The drive to strengthen the BOC’s core mandates complied with President Marcos’ orders to fully automate the government systems, remove red tape and enforce digital empowerment.
