BOC Davao Donates School Supplies to Public Elementary School

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Davao has donated P30,000 in school supplies to aid teachers and students of Cornelo C. Reta Sr. Elementary School (CCRES) in learning as classes are now at full capacity.

The project is part of the BOC’s Customs Social Responsibility (CSR) for its stakeholders and the public.

The September donations included 40 boxes of paper punchers, tape and dispensers, paper, clips, and a calculator.

Part of the funds was also allocated during the celebration of Teachers’ Month, where they conducted gift-giving activities for their pupils. They also planned to create a safe and well-ventilated reading area for students to use during their free time.

The CCRES expressed gratitude to the BOC Davao personnel for extending their help and understanding the community’s needs.

Through District Collector lawyer Erastus Sandino B. Austria, BOC Davao has always mobilized the Port’s CSR projects through charitable efforts to benefit the public. These are all under Customs Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz, who has been steering the BOC towards the internationally renowned Customs Office.
