CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan President and Senatoriable Greco Begica bared on Tuesday in his visit in Cagayan de Oro that their party PDDS will submit three names of presidential candidates to President Rodrigo Duterte for him to pick and endorse as his next successor.
PDDS the political party organized to support President Rodrigo Duterte’s program has no presidential candidate as of the moment with Sen. Bong Go backing out of the presidential race.
“We will be coming up with three names that we feel has the ability, capability, sincerity and the track record to pursue the presidents reform agenda and advocacies sincerely. I-iendorso namin to syempre may grade yang tatlong pangalan na yan sa pangulo para siya naman po ang pumili kung sino ang kanyang gustong i-endorso,” said Belgica.
Belgica added that the presidential aspirant that Duterte will pick will be endorsed by their national and local party alliances including PDP-LABAN.
However, PDDS is not yet excluding presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. whom President Rodrigo Duterte called a “spoiled” and “weak” leader in the vetting process but will respect the choice of the president for his next successor.
“I do not want to put words on the mouth of the President kung ano ang gusto niya yun ang mangyayari so nasabi na niya yan noon so tignan natin kung yun parin ang magiging desisyon,” said Belgica.
PDDS said they hope to finish the vetting process a month before the May 2022 elections.
