Bato endorses Elipe as MisOr vice governor

SENATORIAL candidate Ronald dela Rosa (PDP-Laban), the former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, has endorsed the candidacy of Misamis Oriental vice gubernatorial candidate President Elipe (PaDayon Pilipino).

During his visit here last week, dela Rosa said he has personally seen the diligence on how Elipe is working for the upliftment of Misamisnons in both legislative districts of Misamis Oriental. (Elipe is currently serving as a Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) member in the second district.)

“Hangyoon ko kamo mga Misamisnon sa pagboto kang Prexy Elipe pagka bise-gobernador kung gusto ninyo ang us aka transparent nga pang-gobyerno,” dela Rosa.

In his five months in office after assuming the post last October, Elipe has been a strong advocate on road safety and other concerns.

He has also authored numerous measures for the upliftment of his constituents, mostly at the municipal level. These resolutions and ordinances are currently stuck in the office of outgoing Vice Gov. Jose Mari Pelaez, who opted not to be reelected in the May 13 elections.

In response, Elipe said he is humbled by dela Rosa’s endorsement.

“Dakong kalipay ug garbo nato nga masuportahan sa kanhi PNP chief kay susama usab niya, dili kita gusto og droga, krimen ug korapsyon sa atong kagamhanan,” he said.
