LANAO DEL SUR (PIA)–The Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) inaugurated a state-of-the-art, three-story police station in Amai Manabilang, here, May 17.
Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) Regional Director PBGen. Allan Cruz Nobleza personally received the P6.25 million facility from MILG Minister Lawyer Naguib Sinarimbo.
Expressing gratitude for the ongoing support from the regional government, Nobleza assured that his dedicated personnel are fully committed to safeguarding public safety.
“Asahan niyo po na mas lalo naming paiigtingin ang aming police visibility, ang aming trabaho para mas lalong matahimik itong Amai Manabilang (Expect that we will intensify our police visibility, our work to make Amai Manabilang peaceful),” Nobleza said.
The installation of this police station is a component of the extensive infrastructure support the Bangsamoro Government offers through MILG. It aims to strengthen security and improve incident response within the community.
Amai Manabilang, with an estimated land area of 54,000 hectares, is strategically located on the border of Bukidnon and Cotabato provinces, presenting a significant economic opportunity that Sinarimbo recognizes.
He emphasized that the geographical location of the town should serve as a gateway for mutual benefits and economic growth among its neighboring provinces.
“Yung boarders (the boarders) should serve as connectivities where mutual opportunities can happen,” he said.
Town Mayor Saidamen Leo Manabilang and Local Police Chief PLt. Dann Alfonso Ducut expressed their appreciation to the regional government for this essential infrastructure. (BIO/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
