CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The pandemic or the threats of the deadly coronavirus disease (covid-19) cannot stop a few good men, who have the hearts for the needy to feed the hungry kids and homeless people in the city.
This is what happened to the collaboration between Oro’s Favorite Artist Edgardo Rivero Palad and the Sumagupa Krew, a group of hiphop artists and one of the best fliptoppers in the city, being represented by Kregga Vasalo and Macoy Magbago.

“When I learned about this project of Macoy Magbago and Kregga Vasalo about these streetkids feeding program this Saturday, I was very enthusiastic about it, and I have decided to become part of this very noble objective,” says Mr Palad, who was one of the very notable philantropist in Cagayan de Oro.
Palad said the advocacy is very beautiful as it gives hope to the streetkids of the city and it is of great honor for the artist to be part of this worthwhile project of the hiphop group based in the city.

Macoy Magbago said since the city is under modefied enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), instead of organizing a hiphop event the group has decided to organize a feeding program not only to the streetkids, but the homeless street folks as well, who sleep in the facades of many buildings in the city.
“Napag-isipan namin na mag organize ng isang feeding program. Maraming salamat po kay sir ED PALAD (artist/ businessman/ philanthropist) sa pag supporta sa aming feeding program,” Magbago pointed out.
